Its finally confirmed, TakaraTomy will be releasing a Transformers Masterpiece version of the Autobot medic, Rachet, designated as MP-30 and we have the official pics of the figure.
Judging from the images, it seems about right that these are official images, its consistent with the other official images made by TakaraTomy. Ratchet is obviously a slight retool of the upcoming MP Ironhide with Autobot medic tampographed markings on his shoulder and his signature V-fin on his head. MP Ratchet comes with almost same accessories as Ironhide, but he doesn't include a rocket pack, instead he also includes tools to save and repair damaged Autobots in battle. Like many Autobot MPs, Ratchet can also fit perfectly inside MP-10 Optimus Prime's trailer.
Earlier, Nippon Yasan has made a pre-order listing for MP Ratchet and according to their site, the price for the figure is at 7,180 Yen and the estimate release of the figure is around April. (Thanks to TFormers for the news listing).
UPDATE (As of Nov 13):
Ratchet's official price listing is posted at TakaraTomy Mall's website at 10,800 Yen (the official SRP is at 10,000 yen, that means it includes a 800 Yen tax). It is also listed it E-hobby site as well, but with a pre-order discount of 7,800 Yen, that's 22% off on savings.
