Premium Bandai opened its pre-orders for the upcoming DX Chogokin VF-31J Kai Siegfried (Hayate Immelmann custom / use) which will be available at the upcoming Tamashii Nation 2017 event in Japan this December.

The figure is identical to the VF-31J Siegfried (Hayate Immelmann use) that was previously released on retail last year with some additional accessory such as 2 pairs of large missile pods which can be mounted on its forearms and also sports a "Blue Knight" emblem on the unit (which appeared in the final episode of Macross Δ) where it was not present when Hayate first piloted the unit (the VF-31J Kai is his second unit after the first one was destroyed during the first half of the series), signifies his official logo as a member in the Delta Flight unit.

In addition to the large missile pods, the VF-31J Kai Siegfried comes with the same accessories as its first release (minus the Freyja Wion co-pilot figure). Unfortunately, the figure will not be released as normally as the exclusive releases (sorry guys), it will only be available during the Tamashii Nation 2017 event that will be held in Japan from December 1-3, and the only way to get this event exclusive item is to pre-order this via the Premium Bandai website with the first batch of pre-orders will start on October 11 and the second set will start on October 18. Once the pre-order is set, you need to go to Japan to get the figure otherwise it will cancel your order with a fee of 540 Yen if you're not present within the day/s of the event.

The DX Chogokin VF-31J Kai Siegfried (Hayate Immelmann use) is priced at 21,000 Yen.
