Bandai is on a roll this year which they introduced a new line called DYNACTION and the initial toy the company will be releasing under the new line is the Evangelion Test Type-01 (Rebuild ver.) from the Evangelion: New Theatrical Edition movie series.

Towering at 400mm (around 15+ inches) in height, this Evangelion is the largest toy to date that Bandai ever produced since the release of the METAL BUILD version. Like its METAL BUILD sibling, Evangelion Unit 01 contains die-cast parts and Polyacetal (POM), incorporated to the figure's joints which allows the figure to maximize its dynamic poseability (more human-like poses) and can do acrobatic poses which smaller scale figures cannot do. This is the selling point gimmick of the DYNACTION line.

Aside from the poseability gimmick, intricate details to the figure was also made such as the Evangelion's humanoid like teeth and production markings. The Evangelion Unit 01 comes with 4 pairs of additional hand option parts, Progressive knife, Pallet rifle, replacement left shoulder armor for storing the Progressive knife, Umbilical cable, replacement antenna, a Shinji Ikari figure, and display base.

Slated for December release, the DYNACTION Multipurpose Humanoid Decisive Weapon Evangelion Test Type-01 is priced at 18,000 Yen (tax excluded).
