Thanks to gekidan over at JEFusion for the news, it seems Shoji Kawamori is yet again working on a new Aquarion series sequel to Genesis of Aquarion.

Titled Aquarion EVOL and its the sequel to the first Aquarion series, the first teaser trailer was already shown during Macross Frontier's 2nd movie Sayonara no Tsubasa movie which its already showing in Japan. The teaser will run for two weeks at eight theaters.

To this date, there hasn't been any info, plot or when the anime series will be shown. Stay tuned for further updates.
