If you're looking for some mecha anime action this December, well wait no more because HERO TV will air Captain Earth this coming December 9 in their primetime line-up.

For those who aren't familiar with this series, Captain Earth is produced by BONES and it was one of the few promising anime series that aired this year and it ran for 25 episodes from April till last September. Its the story about Daichi Manatsu, a high school student unexpectedly got involved in a pending invasion from the alien race called the Kill-T-Gang whose mission intends to drain all the life force of mankind to empower their immortal existences. To combat the Kill-T-Gang, Daichi unexpectedly received a mysterious laser handgun known as the Livlaster Tanegashima, a device can be used to operate Earth Engine Impacter, a giant robot created by the Globe organization to fend off the invaders. Joining him in this fight is Teppei Arashi, Daichi's childhood friend who has mysterious powers and Hana Mutou, a girl with mysterious origins.

I can't believe that HERO TV was able to get this series which just ended last September. and hopefully that the dubbing on this series is not overacting. Captain Earth premieres on December 9, at 8:30 PM, replacing Initial D First Stage. HERO TV is available on Sky Cable and Destiny Cable channel 44.
