Kotobukiya launches a new ZOIDS AGGRESSIVE or ZA for short, figure line which the new figure series will differ to their previous released High-end Master Model (HMM) model kit series and TakaraTomy's line. For the initial launch, Kotobukiya will first release Murasame Liger from the series, Zoids Genesis.

So how is the ZA line different from the HMM and TakTomy's figure line? First, all ZOIDS AGGRESSIVE figures and its planned/future releases will be released in 1/100 scale, much smaller compared to the 1/72 size of the HMM kits. Second, the figures are straight out of the box: meaning, there's no assembly required, you can enjoy playing/display these figures without the strenuous assembling it.
Third, like the HMM before; the ZA series will feature articulation and great detail despite its size. Now, you can do action and in-show poses thanks it its ball-joint and hinge type articulation.

The Murasame Liger will feature opening cockpit gimmick, pile bunkers; located on its front legs which can be deployed and its signature weapon, the Murasame blade that retracts and extends and the whole blade can be rotated, just like from the show. The set will also include a special display base and marking decal sheet.
With these cool gimmicks, its a must-have for Zoids collectors. I wish they plan to release Hayate Liger (Murasame Liger's first evolution form) in the next line-up and that would be awesome. For now, check out these awesome images. (WARNING: Hi-res images)

The ZA Murasame Liger is slated for October release and priced at 5,800 Yen.
