Remember the High Grade Meteor unit 1/144 model kit that was released years ago? Well, Premium Bandai will be re-releasing it again this coming December as Bandai Hobby Online shop exclusive.

Unlike the 1st release, the Meteor unit will be released as a standalone unit without the bundled High Grade Freedom Gundam that was originally comes with, as the latter was reissued when the HD Remastered version of Gundam SEED came out in 2011. Just like before, the Meteor unit is compatible with the first and reissue release HG kits of Freedom, Strike Freedom, Justice and Infinite Justice Gundams. It is also compatible with Real Grade (RG) versions of the said Gundam units as well (minus the Infinite Justice - UPDATED), which is a good news to RG Gundam SEED collectors and model kit builders.

It seems Premium Bandai made an error in listing the Real Grade Infinite Justice Gundam on the list of compatible Gundams to the Meteor unit, and removed it as the latter was not yet released in the Real Grade scale. No word as of yet when the RG Infinite Justice Gundam will be released or if they have plans releasing it. Thanks to Gundam Guy for this latest news development.

The Meteor unit comes with its own display stand and decal sticker sheet. Preorders for this kit starts today, September 10 and it is priced at 7.020 Yen.
