At the the on-going New York Toy Fair event, fans were anticipated for unveiling of the upcoming Transformers Titans Return Fortress Maximus and Hasbro did not disappoint them as the Behemoth was unveiled and on display at the said event.


The figure is an icing to the cake to this line, Fort Max is a heavy retooling of the previously released Titan Class Metroplex and yes, he comes with two Headmaster figures, Spike and Cerebros. Also like Metroplex, the figure has also a light and sound gimmick, including a transformation sound and light up eyes on the head.


Like the original G1 Fort Max, the Titans Return version also has a jail cell. Unlike the G1 version, where Cerebros transforms to a "communications room" tower in his chest in its city mode, the Titans Return version, he is the central tower, which I noticed its shorter than the G1 toy version. Another gimmick feature to this figure is where the upcoming Leader class Titans Return figures can be can be connected to him via their ramps.


Either with or without the Master Sword accessory (which I hopefully will be included), the figure is still a beaut to look at. I'm pretty much sold on this figure. Thanks to TFW2005 for the images.
