Starting today, I will also post news on the upcoming Video Games related to robot fandom. Here's my first news.

CyberGundam has posted news on the a new Super Robot Wars game for the Playstation Portable for this year titled 2nd Super Robot Wars Z: Hakai-Hen.

The 2nd Super Robot Wars Z: Hakai-Hen is a direct sequel to the first Super Robot Wars Z which was released for the Playstation 2 in 2008. The game is first half of the 2-part 2nd Super Robot Wars Z game similar to the previous Super Robot Wars F game and it will contain new additional characters/mecha from various Robot series that will debut in the game, here are the list of the series debuting in the game:

Mobile Suit Gundam 00: The First Season

Armored Trooper Votoms series and OVA

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion
Dai-Guard

Macross Frontier 1st Movie: The False Songstress

Psalms of the Planets Eureka Seven Movie

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann

The game also re-introduces Mazinger Z again with the storyline from the recent series Shin Mazinger Shougeki! Z Hen, this means we might not see Mazinkaiser in the game since it will focus on that story. The game also marks the return of Gundam W TV series as seen in the image of TV version of Wing Gundam. Check out the magazine scanned images. Its too early to tell how many characters/mecha are in the 1st half of the game, so stay tuned for more updates.

The 2nd Super Robot Wars Z: Hakai-Hen is slated to be released this coming April 14th which also marks the 20th Anniversary of Super Robot Wars game franchise since the very first game released in 1991.
