As part of the ongoing celebration of the Chogokin line's 40th anniversary, Bandai has posted official images of the next SOC figure to be released, their own version of Gaogaigar TV version figure.

The SOC Gaogaigar (which designated as GX-68) is a fully combinable figure compared to the previously released SRC version which is non-combining. Faithful to the classic design of the mecha based on the original animation, I must admit Bandai pulled off this figure quite nicely from the design all the way to the combination parts. The question now is that how much is the die-cast content has been put to this figure given its hefty price tag. We'll know it once the figure rolls out in December.

The SOC Gaogaigar composed of Gaoleon, the core of the mecha, which transforms to the human mechanoid Gaigar, the Stealth Gao I, Liner Gao I and Drill Gao I. Accessories includes set of hands, and the Dividing Driver.

The SOC Gaogaigar rolls out this coming Christmas season and priced at a hefty 32,400 Yen.
