If Hasbro released Superion in the Generations Combiner Wars line, TakaraTomy's answer to that is they will release their own version of Generations CW Superion under their new Unite Warriors line which be released as a giftset with designation number UW-01 and what's even better than the Hasbro release is that TakTomy will include the missing Aerialbot Slingshot in the giftset.

I'm surprised that they will release a Japanese Superion toy with better paint apps based on the original G1 toy and animation colors and what's more exciting in this upcoming release is that they will include Slingshot instead of Alpha Bravo in the line. Slingshot, instead of having a new jet mode design, it will be a recolored/retooled version of Fireflight with a retooled head taken from Alpha bravo or probably a new head mold. Either way, fans will drool over getting this giftset. Another nod to this release is that TakTomy will use the original G1 Japanese names of the 5 Aerialbots in this release.

In related to this news, Hasbro also taken the trend of their Japanese counterpart and that they will release their own version of Slingshot and Wildrider as response to please the disappointed fans over Alpha Bravo and Offroad's release in the Combiner Wars line. This reveals that Toys R Us US has already listed the 2 mentioned upcoming figures in their computer listings, so its a definite Slingshot and Wildrider will be released in the US. [Source: TFW2005]
