We have news that the Super Robot series, Voltes V and Daimos are coming back to its local mother network, GMA 7 and word has it that a re-dubbing of both series is in the works.

According to JM Melegrito of Anime Pilipinas, the re-dubbing of both series is currently in production, with Alta Productions, Inc. is handling the re-dubbing and the dubbers will be GMA Kapuso stars such as Ken Chan, which he posted on his Facebook account that he is currently dubbing for the voice of Prince Heinell (aka Prince Zardoz, the villain in Voltes V).

Even the heartthrob Alden Richards; one half of Eat Bulaga's popular AlDub loveteam, is included in the project, where reports he will be voicing Kazuya Ryuuzaki (aka Richard Hartford, the main protagonist of Daimos), which posted by a certain Nate Gonzaga on his Instagram account where he is in photo with Richards.

Currently no further information as of yet who will be casting in the re-dubbing project besides Ken Chan and Alden Richards, nor plans when the 2 series will be re-launched. It will be fourth time that Voltes V will be re-dubbed locally and the third time that will be dubbed in Filipino, while Daimos was dubbed twice with the second dubbed version was also in Filipino.
