Thanks to Autobase Aichi, the news regarding the upcoming Year of the Monkey Optimus Primal is indeed true as the toy was sighted on retail in Taiwan.

We have finally get a glimpse of the actual toy and paint scheme which is shared by Taiwanese Transformers Fan group on Facebook. An interesting thing is, there is a Beast Wars 20th Anniversary sticker on the box packaging, this is a sign that Hasbro will indeed celebrate the 20th anniversary of the series and could this mean that we'll getting more Beast wars toys next year in the Generations line perhaps? Its too early to tell, but don't let our hopes up just yet. But for now, check out these images of Optimus Primal.

We don't know when the toy will actually hit in here in the Philippines, but I have a feeling that it will be released around December since Christmas season is around the corner. Thanks to TFW2005 for the news.
