Bandai is releasing another Hyaku Shiki variant in the Master Grade [MG] line, this time its the prototype Hyaku Shiki Kai that will be released as a Bandai Hobby Online Shop exclusive.

The upcoming Hyaku Shiki Kai is a repaint of the previously released MG Hyaku Shiki Mass production ver. where the base frame came from the MG Hyaku Shiki ver. 2.0. Comparing between the two, the prototype version features a flexible wing binders and a drum-type backpack thrusters which gives the mobile suit more versatility in flight, compared to the mass production version.

While the MG mass produced Hyaku Shiki Kai was released in plain gold plastic on its external armors, the prototype version will be released in gold plated finish, similar to the MG Hyaku Shiki ver. 1.0. The Hyaku Shiki Kai will include beam sabers, beam rifle, Clay bazooka, decal sheet, and like the mass produced unit, it also comes with conversion kit parts which you can transform the Hyaku Shiki Kai to the original Hyaku Shiki ver 2.0.

Now accepting pre-orders for this kit and its slated for August release. The MG Hyaku Shiki Kai is priced at 10,800 Yen.
