ToyCon PopLife FanXperience 2018: It's a Whole New Playground (June 8-10, 2018)

Get yourselves in gear folks as the biggest Toy Convention in the Philippines is happening this weekend. It's the ToyCon PopLife FanXperience which will happen starting this Friday, June 8.

This year, its a whole new playground as the the biggest toy convention is adding new attractions and bigger guests. “What we want to give TOYCON fans every year is a sense of belonging to various fan communities. We bring in guests and experiences that bring fans back to why they collect toys, cosplay, read comics, or rewatch their favorite TV series or movies in the first place.” according to Cholo Mallillin, Event Marketing Head for TOYCON PH. Speaking of guests, check out who's coming to the event and trust me, you won't be disappointed.

He's undoubtedly the popular Power Ranger. Jason David Frank debuted as Tommy Oliver / Green Ranger in the original Power Rangers TV series in 1993 and since then, he has been in the series longer than any actor in the Power Rangers franchise, 230 episodes in total. Currently he's a mixed martial artist and he's coming to ToyCon this coming weekend.

Legendary comic book artist Neal Adams is known for his work in revolutionizing the comic industry in the 60's and 70's. He redefined the imagery of Batman and Green Arrow, the co-creator of Batman's arch-nemesis Ra's al Ghul and Man-Bat and was responsible for saving the X-Men comic from cancellation. Neal has won numerous awards throughout his entire career and he co-founded Continuity Studios (formerly Continuity Associates) in 1971.

Filipino-American actor Dante Basco known for his breakout role as the Lost Boys' leader Rufio in Hook alongside Robin Williams and Dustin Hoffman. Since then, he appeared in several movie and TV shows. He is also a voice actor; most notably, the voice of Prince Zuko in Avatar: The Last Airbender and Jake Long in the titular series, American Dragon: Jake Long.

Like Jason David Frank, Michael Copon debuted in Power Rangers as Lucas Kendall / Blue Timeforce Ranger in Power Rangers: Timeforce in 2001. Since his debut, Michael has appeared in several TV shows, among are One Tree Hill, Beyond the Break, Scrubs and CSI Miami.

Actor, screenwriter, and comic book writer Kevin Grevioux; known for his role as the Lycan Raze in Underworld, which he also co-created. He also appeared in several movies such as The Mask, Steel, Congo and Planet of the Apes remake. As a comic book artist, he wrote several stories for Marvel and Red 5 comics. Aside from Underworld, he also wrote I, Frankenstein which was later adapted to film in 2014.

Actress and model Kelly Hu has appeared in numerous movies and television. Among are the TV shows Sunset Beach, Martial Law, and Nash Bridges. She known for her role as the Sorceress Cassandra in Scorpion King and Lady Deathstrike in X2. Aside from acting, Hu did also voice acting in animation and video games; among of the prominent roles are Karai from Nickelodeon's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Batman: Arkham Origins as Lady Shiva.
