TakaraTomy's Transformers United official homepage formally opened yesterday. The site will host incoming and upcoming Transformers Toys that was previously released in the Classics and the Generations line

Transfomers News: Images of upcoming MP-01B Convoy Black ver

After 4 years since the release of Masterpiece Ultra Magnus, TakaraTomy has decided to release another recolored version of MP-01 Convoy (Optimus Prime), a black recolored variant dubbed as MP-01B Convoy Black Edition.


The said figure will be released as an e-Hobby exclusive and its slated for January 2010 release and priced at 10,500 Yen, a must have for Optimus Prime collectors.

Featured Toy Custom: TF RoTF Sideswipe by mampy

Starting today, Robot Pilipinas will feature Robot Toy customs created by aspiring Filipino toy customizers for showing their talents in toy repaints, kit bashing and much more.

For our first featured toy custom is the movie Sideswipe from Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen by mampy.

The toy custom features an automotive platinum metallic finish on the figure. Not only that, mampy had made some minor alterations to the toy as well by modifying Sideswipe's feet by removing the car fenders and gluing them back to the car hood by using an epoxy. This made the toy more accurate to the CG model or the actual movie version which stands only on its 2 wheels. He also added real springs to the suspensions at the back of SS legs as well.

Local News: Transformers Animated Voyager Class figs 50% off

Last week, local toy shops like Kids Station have been reducing all of the Transformers Animated Voyager class figures to whopping 50% off of the price which originally it is priced at 1,400 Php and later reduced to 1,000 (30%) and now its selling half the price at 700 Php (see the images by clicking on the pics).

This week, major toy shops such as Toy Kingdom are already reducing the price on the said Voyager class figures.

For those who haven't collected most of the TF Animated figures, well here's your chance to get them all at half the original price.

Transformers News: A First Look of TF RoTF EZ Collection Devastator

ToyWizard has posted an image of Revenge of The Fallen EZ Collection Devastator DX Set. All of the Constructions in the movie: Mixmaster, Scrapper, Hightower, Long Haul, Rampage and Scavenger (aka Demolisher) are all included, as well as a seventh Constructicon component: Overload.

These Legends scale toys will feature both robot and vehicle modes, as well as the ability to combine into Devastator. The set is will be first released by TakaraTomy. Hasbro hasn't confirmed when they will release their version of this set.

Transformers News: Official Images of BotCon Exclusive Flak

BotCon has updated their official hompage and added images of the 4th BotCon Exclusive figure, Autobot Flak. check out the gallery of this figure by clicking on the image.

Here's a Bio description of Flak posted over at the BotCon website:



"An experienced 'alien fighter' who forged his career in the Cybertronian Revolution, Flak is a fearsome opponent. Space pirates, mutants, transorganics... Transformers News: Package images of RoTF LC Jetfire

Thanks to Kickback of TFW2005.com for the news, we have now package images of Revenge of the Fallen Jetfire Leader Class figure. Click on the image to go to the gallery.


Although the actual figure is not shown, there's an silhouette image of Jetfire combined with LC Optimus Prime. In his bio, he was originally a Decepticon ran away from the war, but he switched sides with the Autobots to fight the war on Earth after he was reawakened.

We'll just have to wait for the image of the combined form of Optimus and Jetfire in Leader Class version looks like.
