Following the release of the colored images earlier, TakaraTomy finally released the full official images of the highly anticipated Transformers Masterpiece Laserwave aka Shockwave following the official images release of Hot Rod; the figure is officially designated as MP-29.

I have to admit I was really surprised when I read the news that TakaraTomy finally did an official Masterpiece of Shockwave and frankly, they've really outdid this time, even the alt mode, really nailed it and this is what the avid G1 fans are waiting for.

Shocky will feature a light gimmick when he is in his Cybertronian gun/cannon mode, they (TakTomy) should have throw-in a sound gimmick in the figure as well which unfortunately they did not put. He will include an optional static salute right hand (solid and transparent versions), transparent right hand, translucent version of his laser gun, left hand, his Cybertronian gun barrel; which can be mounted on his back in robot mode, a faux backpack/stand where it also store the barrel inside, mounted on its back in robot mode and as a stand in gun mode and a minature and cute, non-transforming Shockwave gun.

Shockwave is slated for March 2016 release, following the release of MP Hot Rod and priced at around 16,800 Yen. Thanks to TFW2005 for the images.
