Sunrise will release the Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn anime again, but this time it will be now as a TV series that will air on Nagoya TV this coming April, this was announced on the TV station's and the Gundam Unicorn's respective official websites.

The title is now called Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn RE: 0096 and the series is a rework of Sunrise's 7 episode OVA series, that will be released as a 30-minute TV episodes. There are no details as of yet how many episodes will air. This is not the first time Sunrise has done this, turning an anime OVA series that was released later as a TV series, the studio first attempted at Gaogaigar: FINAL, an 8-episode OVA series (also produced by Sunrise) that was later reworked into a 12-episode TV series as Gaogaigar FINAL -Grand Glorious Gathering-.

Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn RE: 0096 TV series will start airing this coming April 3rd 7:00 AM (Japan time).
